Bus Safety

Safe public transportation is our top priority

Arrive Early

By arriving 5-10 minutes early, you will eliminate unnecessary rushing.

Exact Change

Having the exact fare ready when boarding eliminates displaying extra cash.

Personal Property

Keep personal belongings on your lap or under/between your feet.

Crossing the Street

NEVER cross the street in front of the bus. Wait for the vehicle to pull away, giving you a clear view of the street.

Remain Seated

Avoid falling forward or behind by waiting until the bus comes to a complete stop.

2-Feet Rule

Always stand at least 2 feet away from the curb.

Boarding

Let other riders exit before boarding the bus.

Unnecessary Conversations

Do not engage in unnecessary conversation with strangers, and NEVER give out personal information.

Stay Away from Doors

Don’t touch vehicle doors as they are opening or closing, and never lean against them.

Bottom line:
Don’t second-guess yourself

If something doesn’t feel right or you feel uneasy at any point, don’t hesitate to change your seat and alert the driver.
