Updated map of the 7 Anthony full route
Citilink will be making some small routing adjustments to Route 7 Anthony as a part of ongoing efforts to improve schedule reliability and ensure buses stay on time.
Over time, small changes in traffic patterns and travel times can make certain sections of a route tighter than intended. When this happens, buses may have difficulty staying on schedule. This adjustment helps ensure Route 7 continues to operate efficiently while maintaining service to important destinations in the Southtown area.
What’s Changing
The adjustment affects two sections of Route 7: the outbound path leaving Central Station and the Southtown/Walmart area.
Outbound Service (Toward Southtown / Walmart)
When leaving Central Station, Route 7 will travel:
- South on Calhoun Street
- Turn left onto Wallace Street
- Continue to Hanna Street and reconnect with the current route near Hanna Creighton Transit Center
In the Southtown area, after serving Arbors of Southtown, the bus will:
- Return to Anthony Boulevard
- Turn right onto U.S. 27
- Turn left into Walmart to serve riders before continuing the route
These adjustments help keep the route on schedule while maintaining service to key destinations.
Inbound Service (Toward Central Station)

Inbound buses will continue to serve the Walmart area, but Arbors of Southtown will become a request or call-in stop only.
This adjustment is primarily intended to accommodate riders traveling from Walmart with groceries, while helping keep buses on schedule along the corridor.
Riders from Arbors of Southtown are encouraged to board the bus during the outbound trip, when the bus directly serves the complex. Inbound service to this location will occur only when requested.
This adjustment allows Citilink to continue serving the Southtown area while keeping Route 7 running on time for riders throughout the corridor.
Our Goal
Citilink regularly reviews routes to ensure service remains reliable and responsive to rider needs. Small routing adjustments like this one help maintain dependable service while continuing to connect riders with jobs, shopping, and essential destinations.
