Board members are residents of the Public Transportation Corporation (PTC) taxing district and serve four-year terms. Appointments are made in accordance with Indiana Code 36-9-4-15, with three members appointed by the Mayor and four by City Council. Board members oversee Citilink’s executive, fiscal, and legislative policies, ensuring the organization continues to serve the community effectively. These roles are unpaid appointments, reflecting the dedication and commitment of the board to public service.

Citilink board meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 5 p.m. in the Alan McMahan Room at the downtown Allen County Public Library. Meetings are open to the public.
General Manager and CEO of Citilink, John Metzinger, said he looks forward to the board’s leadership in helping Citilink serve the Greater Fort Wayne community.

“With the continued challenges surrounding public transit funding at both the state and federal levels, strong leadership and community advocacy are more important than ever. Our board plays a critical role in helping Citilink navigate these realities while advancing strategic initiatives like route optimization, service enhancements, and sustainability planning,” said Metzinger. “Together, we are committed to strengthening public transportation in Fort Wayne and ensuring our system continues to evolve to meet the needs of our growing community.”
