Citilink Invites Public Input on 2025 Title VI Program Updates
Public input session scheduled for June 17 at Allen County Public Library
FORT WAYNE, Ind., (June 12, 2025) — Citilink is inviting the public to review and comment on its 2025 Title VI Program Updates, a federally required plan that outlines how the agency amplifies equality and accessible transit service throughout Fort Wayne and the surrounding communities.
Now available for public review, the draft plan reaffirms Citilink’s commitment to fair and inclusive service for all riders, regardless of race, color, or national origin. It also outlines a series of proposed enhancements aimed at improving accessibility and rider experience, including upgraded amenities and tools that promote greater access across the system.
The plan outlines meaningful improvements such as:
● New universal shelter installations at Bowen Health, Turnstone, and The League
● Expanded ADA-compliant signage and push-button audio at stops, coming late summer 2025
● Narcan available at Central Station to support rider safety
● Improved multilingual access through tools like Boostlingo
