We’re excited to announce the launch of Access Plus+, a new premium paratransit option for passengers traveling outside the ADA-required ¾ mile boundary from Citilink’s Fixed Route service.
What is Access Plus+?
Access Plus+ is designed for riders who:
- Live beyond the ¾ miles Fixed Route boundary reaching to Fort Wayne city limits (not New Haven)
- Want to travel to a destination outside that boundary
How it Works:
- Fare: Each Access Plus+ trip costs $4.50 if you use Cash or Ticket. Paying with Token Transit each trip costs $4.28 and must be paid at the time of boarding.
- When you call to schedule a ride, Citilink Customer Service team will let you know whether your trip falls within:
- The standard Access service zone
- The new Access Plus+
- If any part of your trip is in the Access Plus + zone (either pickup or drop-off), the entire trip will be considered Access Plus+ and priced accordingly.
- You may use the old-style Access tickets for Access Plus+ but you would need to pay the $1.50 difference at boarding.
